The registration volunteer takes in all required information to enter clients into the database.  Information must be correct so as not to cause confusion or interfere with tax and grants.

This person walks around our store helping clients choose the assigned amount and categories of food according to their submitted information.  

• CASH, CHECKS (made out to Newark Food Closet), GIFT CARDS. All may be sent to 301 East Miller st Newark.

• You may also make donations through VENMO just look for @Lisa-Barrett-81 and look for our food closet sign.

• We also have a change box located at HEP SALES in Newark just take in any of your loose change and place it in our wooden grocery bag on the counter.

• Consider donating your change from your bottle returns at E-Z Bottle across from Colburn Park, just tell them you want to donate all or some of your bottle change to the Newark Food Closet.

• All donations go right to purchasing perishable and non-perishable items for families that face food insecurity monthly. We could not do what we do without the help from the community.

• Food Donations can be brought into the Food Closet Monday- Friday 10am-12pm

• Donations may be dropped off at Citizen Bank by Wegmans during their business hours.

• We also offer free pick up.

• ALL DONATIONS ARE TAX DEDUCTIBLE.
